PDP extends lead to 2,034 votes after 6th round in Budgam bypoll | KNO

Srinagar, Nov 14 (KNO): The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues to maintain a strong edge in the Budgam Assembly by-election, with its candidate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi now leading by 2,034 votes after sixth round. According to details available with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Age Muntazir has secured 8,690 votes, while National Conference (NC) candidate Aga Syed Mahmood Al-Mosavi has polled 6,656 votes. Aga Muntazir is now leads by 2,034 votes from the National Conference candidate. Independent candidate Mohd Sameer Bhat stands at 2,227 votes, while Jibran Dar has secure 2,189 votes and Nazir Ahmad Khan has bagged 1,525 votes so far. The counting for the remaining the eleventh round is underway—(KNO)
